When I'm in my Today list there are dates next to each action on my list. Sometimes is says "Tues"
I can't figure out how to get rid of these dates. I open the action for editing and change the date even and nothing happens.
Yes, unfortunately the Today list in Doit works as though they had imagined that everything on it were scheduled calendar actions. It does not work as a normal "starred" list that you find in most other apps, where you can decide to show anything that will deserve your attention today and still be able to see the same action in its normal place (e.g. Next list, Waiting list etc). This is a great pity and I hope they will change it.
To remove the dates you can drag the task from Today to Today - from the Today list in the main pane to the Today menu in the left menu. You can "bulk drag" several items by first ctrl-clicking several actions in the list to "multi-select" them.
