  Nothing I need. I do not use my task app for reference material. I definitely would not pay extra for it.
  
  But there are many compromises we all have to make ... no app developer puts their efforts in exactly the right places for each individual user ...

  Files are more accessible and better filed with tools like Dropbox.
  
  Regarding philwoods prices proposal, I totally disagree with him.

  I don't need file attachments but I like the thought of the ability to integrate reference if wanted or desired. I really like how Zendone has integrated with Evernote and something similar would be interesting to me as I keep all of my notes and reference material in Evernote. I would be nice to have a closer tie between Evernote and DoiT besides just links. However, it's not a "killer" feature for me and would not pay a considerable amount extra just for that.
  
  In terms of pricing... if a App were to exist that did have EVERYTHING that I needed, I would say a $79 - $100 annual subscription wouldn't be out of my range. More than that I would say is too much. Obviously I would like it as low as possible but given what's on the market today, there's nothing that's perfect so as Folke has said many times, we are choosing to use the "least worst option" outthere. If a truly great option would emerge, I wouldn't hesitate to pay a premium for it. I pay $70 or so a year for Mozdy to back up my hard drive and I've never needed it yet (thankfully). So paying even $100 per year for a GTD system that has everything I need, reduces my stress, and relieves my anxiety that I will forget or miss an important action item, then it's well worth the money.

  Which reminds me ... to sign up for Spanning as a backup my GDrive, Gmail and GCal (or do you know of a a better option?) ...
  
  ... but this is nothing much to do with GTD - except if you fear that the GTD app might mess with your data. Beware that Doit's reverse sync will happily either delete or checkmark both your own and other people's appointments in your normal shared GCal calendars. This happens as soon as you trash it or complete it in Doit (e.g. if the event is nothing you intend to participate in). Nice to have a good backup in those kinds of cases.
  
  As for Evernote integration I agree with @hntopper. Can be very nice and useful, but not an absolute need. Zendone have spent enormous energy on their Evernote and GCal integrations - and have left out GTD fundamentals like Someday and Tickler file.

  ... and when I played with iqtell about six months ago I managed to destroy a lot of my Evernote notes. Are you aware of a backup service for Evernote?

  @ Folke, I'm not aware of any better backup plan than Spanning, but I don't use Gmail or Gcalendar for anything more than just tasks. I'm an Apple guy so all of my real important stuff is on their platform. For file back up I use Dropbox. I don't know of any back up service for Evernote.

  I had this facility with Todoist and before that with Toodledo, but in practice never actually used it. Certainly not something I would pay extra for. I would much prefer the ability to drag and drop tasks before this sort of upgrade.

  What I usually do when receiving mails with attachments, is to mail them to my doit.im e-mail address AS WELL as my evernote e-mail address.
  
  I think this might be even more useful:
  1. Send the mail with the attachment to doit.im account
  
  2. In doit.im, there is a page where you can configure what action to undertake when a mail has attachments.
  
  3. These are the options:
  * send attachment to e-mail address
  * send to Evernote (integrated so the task will have a link to the note / shard)
  * send to Dropbox (integrated so the task will have a link to the file)
  * sent to Google Drive (integrated so the task will have a link to the file)
  * upload to FTP? (perhaps this one is a little too technical though)
  * do nothing

  For those of you that have tried IQtell: what did you think of it ? I too have tried it because the idea of having all gathered into one tool seemed attractive (process e-mails from gmail, connect to evernote, dropbox, etc) ... But in the end it felt to me like using all these great tools with a less optimal higher shell. So I went back to using the tools separely. Works better for me. I still would like a better way to include (e-mail) attachments in tasks though. Sooo many things arrive via e-mail these days ... And somehow to keep a link between actions and e-mails, so I can easily respond to someone when the action is complete. Not a "must have", since I can keep a separate folder of e-mails to follow up, but a time saver.

  Would be great to have the file attachment capability for the reason mentioned above - sending emails into doit.im for processing. Would also be in support of something that linked Evernote reference material to doit.im. For instance, a task might be to make a recipe I clipped from the web into Evernote. Being able to see that receipe or link to it would be helpful rather than going separately over to Evernote and having to search through all my notes.

  I think Integration with Evernote and Box would be better than to have attachments store within doit.
