And ideas? How to seperate everything into work and home, so I'm able to look at them each alone?

Hi, I just can't figure this out. In Omnifocus I liked having work and home separate and toggling back and forth.

Does anyone else do this? How?

  I have the impression this is a request that has been acknowledged by Doit, but is pending final decision and implementation. Nirvana also has this feature, and I know it is popular, but personally I do not use it.
  
  I believe the only way to deal with this at the moment would be to have a tag, and then filter each list each time you look at it (that's what I would do), or to duplicate the standard lists by "advanced filters" at the bottom of the left menu (personally I do not like to have to make custom lists and keep them at the bottom - but if you do not mind this, you could try Toodledo or RTM - they both have very powerful saved filters).

  I was also thinking alot about how to separate work and home in doit. I tried using tags, but were not very happy with that.
  I ended up writing "ÅÅ" (the last letters in the norwegian alphabet. I guess you could write "zz") in front of every project that belongs to home. Since the list is sorted alphabetically, all home projects are gathered together in the bottom part of the project list.
  
  It has been helpful for me to do it like this at least, so you could try it.

  I do indeed use tags to do just this. I have only 2 tags, 'work' and 'private/personal' (the dutch word I use does not translate that well but I mean everything not work related). I do not use tags for anything else.
  Most of the time I don't use it anyways because I like to see all tasks. For instance, run work related errands and private/personal errands at the same trip to the city center. Or the phone call I make in between appointments could very well be a personal call.

  There is no drag and drop way of putting a task into a spesific tag. So its quite some work to tag every single task with home or work isn`t it?

  Hi Michelle, there are various ways to separate Work and Home areas in OmniFocus. The way I used to do it can be duplicated in Doit.im. Each of my contexts is specific to an area of my life; for example, I only use @Agendas (with a tag for each person or meeting the agenda item is for), @Office for work tasks. I only use @Home, @Errands for personal tasks. I like to limit my contexts as there are many other ways to view my work in Doit. With these simplified contexts I create 2 filters; one called Work containing all incomplete tasks with any of my 'work' contexts and the other called 'personal' containing all contexts that are personal-related.
  
  I realise that not everyone can separate contexts like this but it works well for me.
  
  As previously mentioned, you could tag every task with either a 'work' or 'personal' tag and create 2 filters as above.

  How do you handle the "waiting fors" ? Do you split them over two contexts for work and personal ?
