I have no real need for attachments in my task manager. I always store those straight away in their long-term reference archive, and I do not have any problem finding my reference info whenever I need it.
But I think I saw something written somewhere about Doit planning to implement a solution for attachments.
Another thing you can do even today is put documentation in Dropbox, Evernote etc and paste links to those documents in your Doit tasks.
