@abonnerat
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Which box will you always have the old tasks? Could you please tell me why you need this? Is it for sorting?
You'd better review your task list regularly. And next version,we will support manually sorting.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
We can have a deadline but it would be nice to add automaticaly the date when the task is created. With a filtered view associated we would be able to see the old tasks that has not been adressed yet.
Thanks,

It is both useful and interesting to see how long a task has been sitting on a particular list (Box), for example:
- "How long have I been waiting for this report from John?" (Waiting For)
- "How long have I been delaying answering Johns request?" (Next)
- "When did I first come up with this idea?" (Someday)
Workaround: Currently I try to remember to write these dates manually on the task line. (It is also possible to write Comments.)
But it would be so much more convenient if this happened automatically!
Simple solution: Doit already has three dates (deadline, scheduled, and reminder). The scheduled date is seldom used, except for scheduled tasks. It would be perfectly possible - for Next, Waiting and Someday tasks - to use this date feature as the date when a task was moved to (or created on) one of these three "home" lists (Next, Waiting and Someday). -
