Location reminders can be a real nuisance. I think it is generally better to "plan" things a bit in advance - e.g. tentatively move a few possible errands to the Today list, and, if I did not do them, just move them back.

It is certainly not a futile option is very important and interesting to have reminders by location.

Imagine that you will buy something in a city but do not know the day goes to her, then set a reminder? Location where you will be prompted to purchase this item when it is in that town or place.

Another example: You borrow something for a friend and that friend does not return, you create a reminder when you go to his house, you will be reminded to take the item back.

Reminder location is everything!

Since you are still developing this feature, you can do what your competitors didn't. Do it right. Location based reminders based on address only is a fail.

Take a look at GeoBells. Its an app exclusive for location based reminders, so not really a replacement for any todo lists, but it do marvelous work.
You can set a task: Buy Milk, and at location you just type: Grocery Store. It will use the categories in Google Maps and simple list in a map all the groceries store in your city (or everywhere). So, anytime I go by a grocery store, no matter which one, it will read out loud my task. So while I'm driving I simple chance my route and go to that store.

Works for Pharmacies, Pizza place, Cinema, everything. It can also do actions (perhaps too much for a todo app). Example: Silence my phone when I'm in a cinema. Any cinema.

Keys points (all of them in GeoBells already)
- Use Google Maps category, so it works everywhere in the world, even in a small town in Brazil like mine.
- Read out load the task. When I'm driving I won't pull over the car just to look at what the phone is ringing about. Its important to read the task when triggered.
- Be able to choose distance of triggering. 1Km, 10 Km. Why? Because when I set: Fuel for the car when I'm in the city, I set to maximum 500 meters. If I'm travelling and I need the same task, I will set to 10 Km perhaps. Cause I will be on the highway and I need to know in advance a fuel station is nearby.
- List the groceries or cinemas or whatever in the map, focused on the city I'm in right now. Why? Because I can instantly see
if the keyword I typed (grocery, pizza, etc) is working. And I can locate on the map my favorite place and see if its also there.

I would definitely pay for that feature. I also said somewhere in this forum that I was waiting for Tasker plugin to become a premium user. This unfortunately did not happen. A good location reminder also worth premium.
