my completed tasks don't sync with the iphone version

I manage my do.it tasks online normally, but I also use the iphone app, however it's partly unusable because it doesn't sync properly and shows many tasks I've already checked as completed on the web version. It has always done this both on the iPad when it was available and on the iphone, I just never reported it before now.
For reference, I am no longer using the unsupported iPad App, just the newest iphone version and it's unusable because of this.

We've checked to find no problem on synchronization. But we're sorry about the problem you came across.
Could you please sign out and sign in again your phone version so that the app may load the data from server again? Thus, you may see the data correctly.

I believe that's finally fixed it! I wish I'd asked before, many thanks.
I have a new problem though - I clicked the gold star on a task scheduled for today and it disappeared. It's not in deleted, completed, scheduled, waiting or any of the other folders, it's disappeared - what happened?

In GTD theory, things not to be done are put into Next by default so that we may make plan for it as soon as possible.
If you want to defer it to some day later, you may
1. In web or desktop version, just drag and drop it into Scheduled to pick a future date;
2. In phone version, long-press the task to enter task batch editing mode, tap the date icon at bottom to pick a future date for it.

That didn't answer my question which was:
In the app - I clicked the gold star on a task scheduled for today and it disappeared. It's not in deleted, completed, scheduled, waiting or any of the other folders, it's disappeared - what happened?

Could you please search for it in the app? If you still could not find it through search, please:
1. sign out and sign in again to see if it exists.
2. check the web version to see if it exists: https://i.doit.im/.
