I very much agree. Before I trust my 'life' to Doit.im, I need a guarantee that if you close your doors or there is some catastrophic failure, that I at least have a raw backup of my data that I can work with.

Some users are emailed a monthly backup as JSON, which is perfect (though I'd prefer to be able to do it on demand or weekly). JSON makes more sense than CSV, in my opinion

A JSON backup of all data would be good.

For my purposes, a modified version of http://lab.leeiio.me/printdo/ would be great.

The version you mentioned of http://lab.leeiio.me/printdo/ was made by a third party developer. I've sent to ask our engineer, but might be impossible to modify it. I'll reply here when our engineers answer.

Is there any chance of this functionality being added in the near future? It seems to be a regular request.

please add me to the monthly backup email list so that I receive the JSON or CSV backup of my data regularly. How about placing a checkbox into prefferences? It would be great to have the ability to export the data by myself any time too.
