For quite some time now I can't make and save new events in my Google Cal, which is synced with Doit I'm. This post from official GoogleCal forum seems to suggest that the problem may be caused by third party apps.

We've checked but that's not our problem. Based on the solution in the website you posted, it solves local computer problems. clear cookie, see if there is any plugins, etc.
