I followed the instructions in the link http://help.doit.im/topics/3257
to get an API key and use the API for tasks. I'm not sure if it is still valid because I have not heard anything in several weeks. How di I go about getting and using an API.

One of the reasons I need this is because I get "Host unknown" when I try to use the email feature.
