Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
Q1: I'm currently using context to separate project into different stage. But when I search it using the filter, the Project is not shown in the search result. The context I use is only for project, so they are not assigned to any task and I guess this make the search result is empty.
A: 1. Now, only inactive project will be shown in the context you assign to it. (To know more about active projects and inactive projects, please click here, http://faq.doit.im/web.html#37) Because what you need to focus on in an active project are the actions under it.
2. If you add a context to a project, tasks you add to the project will not inherit the context. Because we can not guarantee all the tasks you add to the project can be done in the same context as that of the project.
Q2: If context is not designed to be used for searching project, can you add the Tag field in project so that I can search in by filter?
A: We will consider it in the future.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks for your support on Doit.im.
Add Tag field in Project
Dear Support Team,
I'm currently using context to separate project into different stage. But when I search it using the filter, the Project is not shown in the search result. The context I use is only for project, so they are not assigned to any task and I guess this make the search result is empty.
If context is not designed to be used for searching project, can you add the Tag field in project so that I can search in by filter?
Thanks,
Jacky.
