Hello,
Please add the contact to your Doit.im Contacts List.
Now, only in the web version can you add a contact.
https://i.doit.im/signin
To add a contact, click the contact button on the bottom of the left-side menu. The Contacts List will appear on the right. Click on the “+” button on the bottom of the Contacts List and select “New Contact…”. The "Add New Contact" dialogue will appear. From here you can input correct email address and enter/return. Then you will get the information "Application’s been sent, waiting for his/her confirmation."
When the contact application is passed by the contact, you'll be able to forward tasks to him.
Here is a video that tells you how to send a task to your contact in Doit.im.

By the way, the latest version for Mac is 1.6.6. Please update to it in time.

If you have more questions about Doit.im, please feel free to contact us.
I type an email address into send to field, but pressing send doesn't perform an action.
I changed focus to the title and descriptions fields first, and it looks lik ethe email address is valid. What's wrong?
(I'm a new user - this is the first time I tried sending a task).
Thank you,
Julian

Are there any plans to allow the user to send the Task (or more accurately 'park' the Task) with a contact who is not a doit.im user and has no awareness that the application exists? This is useful for keeping the Next/SomeDay lists clear whilst also being able to call-up a list of activities which you have delegated to a colleague using a method outside of doit.im.
I realise it is possible to do this by manually moving the Task to the Waitng For folder but being able to tag a Contact as being 'external' would be a neat feature. -
