@tradulescu
Thanks for your feedback.
Q1: I have inquired a while back about the possibility to assign a task, but without sending e-mail to the person (just keeping note of who does the task, as name). There has been no change to support this. Can you estimate when this feature will be available?
A: Now, if the receiver is a Doit.im user and you've successfully added him as your contact(http://faq.doit.im/web.html#48), he will get the message in his Doit.im when you send a task to him. And you two can communicate with each other using comments.
And if he is not a Doti.im user, then he will get an email when you add him to your Doit.im contact list. Do you mean that you could add a contact without forcing him be a Doit.im user or you could assign a task to someone without sending the task to him? Actually, we are considering supporting both in the future.
And now, you may use "Context" or "Tag" instead. In Doit.im, Context not only refers to a place where you do the task, but also refers to a person you are communicating with. Create a context named as the receiver name, and then assign the task to it. Thus, you can view tasks with the receivers when opening the context. Alternatively, create a tag named as the receiver name and add the tag to the task. Then you can filter the tasks with the receiver by the tag.
Q2: Also, when do you plan to support Adroid tablets in landscape mode?
A: Now, Doit.im for Android can be used on Adroid tablets. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=im.doit.pro
Landscape mode is supported when you edit a task, a context and a project and will be supported in the whole app in the future. Please be patient.
Q3: Regarding the widgets, do you think you could create a 4 x 1 widget with smaller text?
A: We will consider it.
Shall you need any other help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

I'm currently considering switching to Zendone, but would rather stay with you if you could implement these changes.
Thank you,
Tudor

"Q2: Also, when do you plan to support Android tablets in landscape mode?"
I use an android phone with a slide out keyboard (HTC Dezire Z / HTC Vision), so whenever I'm going to add or edit tasks I have the keyboard out and I'm in landscape mode.
So having some screens rendered in portrait mode and some in landscape isn't ideal. Especially as some of the landscape pages don't scroll so I can't access the bottom of the page.
So I'd be grateful if you could you improve your screen handling asap so that I can use your app properly with my phone? I'm trialing the pro version - I'd be happy to pay but not if your app doesn't work properly with my phone!
Many thanks,
Mike -

@s6mike
Hello,
Now, when you add or edit a task in landscape mode, the keyboard will be out. Tap on the "Back" button and the keyboard will retract, and then the page can be scrollable. Here, you said, "Especially as some of the landscape pages don't scroll so I can't access the bottom of the page." Could you please describe it in detail?
BTW, do you refer to the latest version for Android 3.9.11? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=im.doit.pro
In addition, we now make a better design for our app and will improve screen handling in the future.
Thanks for your support on Doit.im.
