@Yaki
Hello,
Just as you described above, when tasks on Doit.im are synced to GCal, they will only appear in Doit.im calendar on GCal. If you don't want to be interrupted by the tasks from Doit.im, you may not open that calendar.
Q: however the tasks from the doit Google calendar still appear on the iOS calendar notifications in the iOs notification center, cluttering them up.
A: Appear on the iOS calendar notifications? What do you mean here? Could you please describe the steps you did in detail?
We feel so sorry that now there is no way to cancel the sync from Doit.im to GCal. :(
Thank you for your feedback and support.
I would like to use Google calendar sync but only in one direction: from Google calendar to Doit. I find the other direction, i.e. from Doit to Google Calendar, to clutter my calendar with many tasks, and I lose sight of my daily appointments.
I tried deleting the Doit calendar from Google calendar, but it just got added back automatically. I hid the Doit calendar from view on Google calendar and on my iPhone calendar, which worked fine on these two applications, however the tasks from the doit Google calendar still appear on the iOS calendar notifications in the iOs notification center, cluttering them up.
Is there a way to prevent the Doit calendar from appearing in Google Calendar yet keeping the other direction sync?

The iPhone has a notification center, which includes notifications from various Apps that you have authorized to display in the notification center. One of these apps is the iPhone calendar ( synched to my Google calendar), which displays in the notification center my meetings for the next 24 hours. It's very useful to slide your thumb down the screen and to see all your upcoming appointments.
The problem is that the iPhone calendar notifications in the notification center also the lists the (many) tasks from the Doit Gcal calendar, thus cluttering everything.
Do you have a solution to not display the Doit calendar entries in the iOS calendar notifications in the notification center? -

@Yaki
iPhone calendar syncs with Google calendar? Actually, it's out of our control. :(
You may check the settings of your iPhone calendar and there may be an option that allow you to choose the calendars that you want to be synced to your iPhone calendar.
Alternatively. in the settings of Google cal, you can choose the calendars that you want to be synced to your iPhone calendar.
Thanks for your support on Doit.im. -

The iPhone calendar setting only affects the calendars displayed in the Calendar app, but it does not affect the meetings displayed in the notifications center.
I found the option to choose in Google calendar which calendars are synced to the iPhone, I removed the doit calendar and it solved my problem.
Here is the URL for choosing which Google calendars are synced to the iPhone:
www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect
Perhaps you should add a section on how to configure one way sync between doit and Gcal to your FAQ -
