Email notification when Assigning Tasks

Really liking doit.im, it's not quite an astrid beater yet but it's the best replacement I've found.

Would really like it if, when I assigned a task to someone, they received an email notification - with the task as the subject and the details in the body. That would help my workflow no end.

Now, when you assign a task to someone, he will get a message in his Doit.im. Do you mean that you hope to assign a task to someone without being a Doit.im user?

Hi,

No, I mean when I assign a task to someone, I'd like them to receive an email notification. It would be nice if they didn't have to be a dotim user (astrid allowed non-users to receive tasks) , but not crucial.

The reason I'd like someone to receive an email notification so they know they have a new task from me! If I'm assigning someone an urgent task, I want them to know straight away.

If I assign a task to someone who doesn't log in to dot.im very often, I want them to know before they log into dot.im.
