Installation of windows client

I am unable to install the windows client. I keep getting the error from windows installer saying "this installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package".

I already had this problem trying to install version 1.5.4, and it still remains in 1.5.5. The problem shows on both my fixed computer as my laptop both running Windows 8 pro x64.

Please advice.

Please try the .msi file to install the Windows app.

To get the .msi file, 1. download Doit.im for Windows 1.5.5; 2. extract it and you will get setup.exe; 3. right click to choose Extract to "setup.exe\(E)" and in the file that comes up, you will get the .msi file. Then click it to install the windows app.

I've the same problem. Windows 8 64 RUS.
Rename to msi doesn't help me.

All works now, I forget to extract exe file.
