On the web version, subtasks can be viewed and edited on the View Task page. Please click the task title on the list and it will go to the View Task page. Then you will see the subatasks. :)

I can't view an edit subtask in Chrome 28 or another web browsers on Windows 8 or Windows 7. In mobile app for Android is viewing and editing subtask possible.
