@valeriuk
Thanks for your suppor on Doit.im.
Q1: It appears as if there is not smart add in the Ipad. I love that feature and it seems like that is a surprising oversight given how well it works in the other platforms.
A: Smart add is not suported on iPad now. On iPad, it shows boxes, task list and task details (task editing page) all in ONE page. When you click on the "Add Task" icon, you can soon add a new task on the right. Smart add is mainly used to collect tasks quickly. On iPad, you may successively collect tasks by clicking on the "Add Task" icon, entering a title and retractcing the keyboard in Inbox. :)
Q2: It would be so intuitive and smooth to have drag and drop enabled in the ipad platform just as the desktop.
A: We will evaluate its feasibility first and consider supporting it in the future. Have you seen anu other apps that has this feature? If you have, please feel free to recommend it to us?
Q3: Once you quick add a task is there any way to move those into a subtask..so if the task I added is actually a subtask of a task already in a project.
A: Convert a task to a subtask?
Q4: Is there a way to organize your project lists on the left hand panel. I want to see them listed by contexts or priority rather than alphabetical.
A: It will be supported in the future. We are making a resarch on manually ordering projects. Please be patient.
Q5: Is there a way to put a time in the smart add rather than just assigning a scheduled day??
A: Here, which version do you refer to? All the versions you are using now? In the Smat add on iPhone and Mac, enter something like "meeting at 9:00am August 12" it will be a task in Scheduled having a start time "12/08 09:00".
Q6: Is there a way to save reference material...eg. I will need this document for this agenda item at the meeting on this day? Similarly is there a way to store reference material like an employee roster or something in the tickler/someday file??
A: It has been in our development plan. We will speed up the pace of the new feature development.
Q7: what is the purpose of the doitnow lightning vs. just using a star...don't they function similarly?? is there a rationale behind using one vs. another?
A: "Doit Now" is a group located in Today box, which helps you quickly focus on tasks that can be done right now without the interruption of today's other tasks. http://faq.doit.im/web.html#119
The "star" icon makes it possible to add a task to Today box quickly. For example, when you are in Next, click on the the "star" icon, the task will imeediately go to Today.
Q8: I have the google synced enabled and its working but I don't want the all day tasks to show up on my google calendar. I just want tasks w/ appointment times. Is that possible? if not then is it possible to do a one way sync...google goes into doit but doit doesn't go into google.
A: When tasks on Doit.im are synced to Google Cal, they are inly shown in Doit.im calendar on Google Cal. If you don't want to see them on Google cal, you may not select Doit.im calendar.
Q9: Is there a way to integrate doit w/ siri...I know I can dictate but don't think that siri commands are actually integrated...is that true??
A: We plan to, It will be suported in the future.
Q10: When I open a task to edit on the web program it appears that there isn't a way to do subtasks...is that correct. The iphone subtasks is so intuitive that I haven't discovered it that way on the web interface.
A: On the web version, subtasks are added and edited on the "View Task" page. Click on the task title on the list and it will go to the "View Task" page. http://faq.doit.im/web.html#95
Here is a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86l-i9HkoSs
Q11: Finally, when I synced to gcal my appointments are showing up 1 hour early??
A: Have you checked the time zone in Doit.im and Google Cal? Are they consistent?
Shall you need any other help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q1. Smart add in iPad will be a great update. It's a feature that distinguishes doit for ease of use
Q2. I don't know that I've seen drag and drop in task apps although I would consider your web and Mac platforms to be good examples where you can drag something over to a folder in the left panel. Certainly I can do that w notes in notability or w recipes in my menu planner app.
Q3. Often when I'm adding something quickly to my inbox I will think of something that needs to be done as a step of another tael already entered. Maybe it will be a piece of clothing I need for my son. I have a project back to school. Three separate task for each child and sub tasks for the items I need to buy for each. Ithat's tee something in the quick add field but then e only way to add it to the right task list is to manually add it and delete the quick add item. The same would hold true for any subtask that I thought of but entered thru quick add.
Q4. ;)
Q5. I guess iPhone although I think its true for the web/desktop too. When u smart add and use the ^keystroke to specify scheduled it doesn't allow for time only day. I wish I could type 'meeting ^sunday815am #productivity and have it automatically record the time not just day.
Q6. Ok
Q7. I understand now.
Q8. I have I unclicked doit but it keeps resyncing and adding it back in.
Q9. Ok
Q10. I guess this isn't pertinent. I was thinking that when I add a new task it would be nice if right at that first step you could add the subtasks. I guess you have to save the task and then edit to get to the subtasks. But that's true for all the platforms I think
Q11. Yes I checked the time settings?.
Thanks. I am loving your product and now even my husband is using it. -

A: Our designer will consider your suggestion.

A: Please input "meeting sunday at 8:15am #productivity" to have a try. Now the specific time accepts a "hh"mm" form.
Q8. I have I unclicked doit but it keeps resyncing and adding it back in.
A: I am so sorry. There is a misunderstanding. Don't click Doit.im calendar on Google cal and you won't see them but they will appear there. Now, once linked to Google cal, Doit.im will be synced to Google cal and there is no way to make tasks in Doit.im not appear on Google cal.

A: We are considering optimizing the task viewing page and will take your suggestion into consideration.
Q11. Yes I checked the time settings?.
A: We checked and found that although they are both -8, but not quite the same. In Doit.im, it is pacific time (-8), while in Google cal, America/Metlakatla (-8). Please try to select the same area.
Please feel free to let us know if there is anything else we can help with. Thank you for your feedback and support.
