Thanks for your support on Doit.im.
I know I can use the "contexts", but I do not want to:
- with a large number of "contexts" for contact persons, that will seriously clutter up my screen
- when a task is "tagged", that still does not constitute a real "assignment". For example I can tag "@mother" to the task of "buy birthday present", but assign the task to my "father" instead.
For this reason, I would appreciate a way to add contacts without them having to confirm anything or entering their e-mail. Or perhaps a way to "group" contexts together that have contact information in them.

I would like that feature as well. There are two scenarios where I could find it very useful:
1: For managing "Agendas" or list of talking points I would like to address next time I meet or talk to a specific person
--> As @woutercox says, making contexts for all these persons would really clutter the interface. My current workaround is one context named @agendas, and then i have a tag for each persons intials
2: For managing "Waiting fors"
--> There I also use a tag for each person to work around.
Allowing us to assign a contact without e-mail address and without the involvement of that person (which in my case often is a colleague, a customer/prospect, a friend or a family member not using this system) could really be a nice clean enhancement.
