@velikaratay
Hello,
Here, you gave us an example.
1. Order pictures,
2. No pictures arrived (After 1 week) - Write a email.
3. The company responses, no payment received!
4. Write a reply email, paid the money already...
5. The company responses, a sry, we received your payment, the pictures will send out today afternoon !
6. One week later, pictures are received. OK - Complete task!
It's a multi-step task. In Doit.im, you can directly convert a multi-step task to a project. And in this case, we also suggest that you should make use of Project . Then, under the project, first, complete tasks that you can do by yourself, and sencond, make those need to be done by others go to Waiting for. When all the people that relate to the paroject finish their task, the whole project will be completed as well.
If there is anything else that I can help with, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks for your support on Doit.im.
To mark a task as completed and to forget about it, it needs further actions from others on it.
For example:
Taks name: Order pictures from the internet
Due date: Today
Actually I can order this pictures! And can I forget about it? NOOO! Because didnt received paid pictures. Only when I receive the pictures, I can already forget about it and mark the task as completed. Otherwise I will do my own step "order" and will forget the task.
So it would be fine when there is a other checkbox or option available "my action is done, waiting for...." - Remind me in "hours, days, weeks, months or scheduled dated"
- This task will automatically added into "Waiting for...." after selecting "my action is done, waiting for...."
- Task will popup on due date with the question: "Mark as compled already?" Yes/ No. If no, add a comment why not, and select a new due date. If yes, complete the task.
This feature is very important, because sometimes a task needs 5 times or more to be completed already like this:
Like that way, that there is a short history is available, to shwo which actions are done in the past ect.
So please provide a good solution for this issue!!

1. Ok first, for me is creating a project more a work around.
1.1. A project doesnt show, that a action is required on. It is only existing on the left side but without warning, attention symbols which are rererencing to further actions.
I will say:
Create project: Order pictures
Create task: Select and upload pictures
Create task: Pay for that pictures ---> Check marke as complete. And then: I will declare a field with "waiting for action......." or staff like that also with a check field.
E.g. with a right click, "Waiting for action...." with a checkbox to check mark. Also a short text is helpful.
It is more like a email communications, where do you can track all dependencies of one issue with reply.
With project is no relation shown between subtasks and their own statuses. And this "Tasks with Waiting statuses, has to be moved to "WAITING" until they are completed!
2. A task which is related to me cant stay endless in "Waiting". After a time of 2 days in goes to his originially location back. So it is weired for me and not that usefull! It has to be stay there until the task is completed or moved by me back!
3. Not everyone is using this great app. So i woould like to add them via theire google adresses as assigned to! So need the integration of my contacts from google cal!

A: I am so sorry that I do no not quite understand. In the future, there will be competition progress in the project viewing page.
Q2: A task which is related to me cant stay endless in "Waiting". After a time of 2 days in goes to his originially location back. So it is weired for me and not that usefull! It has to be stay there until the task is completed or moved by me back!
A: Tasks in Waiting box are those that you need to review periodically. And if there is a time when you complete the task in Waiting box, please add deadline to it. And later, we will support the feature that tasks in Waiting will go to Tomorrow when it is due tomorrow and go to Today when it is due today.
Q3: Not everyone is using this great app. So i woould like to add them via theire google adresses as assigned to! So need the integration of my contacts from google cal!
A: It has been in our development plan. :)
Thank you for your feedback. -

-----> In the actual way, it is only possible to predefine actions in a project.
What I mean is: For every subtask in a project or for tasks without a project, there must be a way to define further actions like: "Waiting for further action". Tasks which are marked as "waiting......" becomes marked as so and commentent if required.
The way of Create projects and then subtasks is more the way of static and predefined projects. My needs are more oriented for spontaneous.
I would like create a task and take further actions on it:
1. Order pictures on date...-> Mark as completed
2. Pay for pictures....-> Mark as completed (NOW: I will say: -> Mark as "Wating for....." ("....." stand for individual tex).
WIth this action on a task-> Mark as "Wating for....." creates a subtask:
2.1 Pictures received?? and is marked as "Waiting for or staff like that" and means that action is required non other ones!

@velikaratay
Do you refer to something like task dependency? Or have you ever seen any other app that has had the feature already? If you have, please recommend it to us and then we will do some research on it.
Thank you for your feedback. -

No I havent seen any app with this. Thats your change to be the first! :-)
It is a very very good method to track all tasks and their statuses in a very easy and fast way. -
