@holybladder
For the filter box, we will improve it in the future, but the improvement will not be implemented so soon. We are now busy in making an all-new design for the app. This time, we will bring you big changes and it will take a little longer than we estimated, but we believe that it won't disappoint you.
For the requests on the Help Center, just as you said above, a lot of open requests becomes harder to manage. :( You may create a new ticket anytime if you have more thought on Doit.im.
BTW, you may also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Blog so that you will get informed in time when there is a new feature or a new version.

Add Next, Waiting, and Someday as possible options (including combinations of these) for a filter option
It is still impossible to filter by Next, Waiting and Someday, which are pretty essential options, particularly since (for example) Contexts show every item for every day - if I want to view only things in a given Context which need to be done Next (ie how a Context is frequently used by many people), I need a filter, and the filter system doesn't allow for me to create that.
This is another topic closed by the devs (the original was started by jdwalker in April), despite not being resolved. I understand that having a lot of open requests becomes harder to manage, however, an open request indicates that this is something your user base want to see, and allows other users who come along with the same request to add their points. If you persist in closing requests with the reply "We're thinking about it", you'll keep getting new requests with the same topic, and users (including paying users like myself) have no feeling of input to the development process - why keep a feedback system at all in that case?
