Search only searching currently displayed items

I have a next action item, and when i am on today view and search, it doesn't show up. I believe search should search all views...not just the current view. Otherwise I have to search multiple times if I don't know where something is. If i am searching, I have an expectation that it will be found regardless of where it is. Having to search multiple places is a pain.

Hello,

Which version are you using? We support Global Search as well. For example, on the web version, click the down arrow in the search field and you can select Global Search. Search in current list is the default search mode.
