Hello,
The search feature has been supported in the app. Click the search icon at bottom left and the search box will appear on the top. If convenient, may I know the reason why you need to get Search by long-press since we have had the search feature already?
Besides, now single-click the Menu button makes the interface switch between the left-side menu and task list. For the shaking issue, we will do some improvement in the future version.
Shall you need any other help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks for your support on Doit.im.

@michelle1987 The reason for the press and hold to search is because it is a standard application functionality in Android that the user is used to. Like in Gmail, Google Calendar, any music player, etc.
