Separate Notes Option

Is it possible to have a separate notes section which can be used for taking quick notes (e.g. during a meeting) and then later using the notes, we can copy paste actionable items into actual tasks.

It would be very helpful.

Do you mean that there could be an option or a shortcut to call up notes immediately?

Have you ever seen another app that has this feature already? If you have, please recommend to us and we would like to do a research on it.

What I meant is having a "Notes Management" module in Doit.im. Notes will be independent of Tasks. Of course an option to convert a note to task will be great.

Place a link on the left navigation tree called "Notes". Screenshot 1 attached.

On clicking this section, the right side pane will provide option to add/edit/delete notes. Each individual note will have Title, Description, Favorite Flag and Created Date/Modified Date. Screenshot 2 attached.

Filtering/sorting options will be great (e.g. Sort by modified date or Favorite notes).

Hello,

In the future, we will support adding attachments/images to a task, and by then you can make the local notes linked to the task in Doit.im.

And besides, we have the plan to integrate with Evernote. :)

I agree with this feature request.

What he's asking for a "notes" functionality separate from tasks.

So if I'm in a meeting and I wanted to keep my notes from a meeting I could just keep it in doit.im instead of having to use Evernote or OneNote or Notepad.

"Bob's Ideas for Marketing" wouldn't translate well as a task but it would be nice to keep track of in the same app I keep all my tasks in.
