Hello,
If convenient, could you please describe the situations that you need to copy tasks? In other words, why do you need to copy tasks?
Thanks for your feedback and support. -

Sometimes there are tasks that are similar but not exactly the same so you can't use the repeat feature. I would be nice to copy it so all the context, tags and state (next, someday, etc) stay the same, you can simply change the wording of the task to better reflect the action.
For example: Pick up laundry and Pick up groceries may have the exact same contexts. By copying the first, I would only change laundry to groceries in the edit field versus having to type everything in, and then selecting the context and tags. It just saves time. -

Hello,
If you are using the desktop apps (web/windows/mac), you can add multiple tasks to a context/project/goal/start time at once. Hold Shift/Ctrl to select multiple tasks on the list and drag and drop them to a context/project/goal on the left-side menu. Before you implement the drag-and-drop operation, please make sure the contexts/projects/goals are expanded on the left-side menu.
Alternatively, you can add tasks with the same attributes successively in Smat-add box. Here is a tutorial video,

As for your suggestion of copying tasks, we will seriously consider it.
