Hello,
When the screen is locked, the reminder will not pop up, but the phone will vibrate or vibrate with ringtones and the screen will light up. Then unlock the screen and you will see the pop-up reminder.
Here, when the reminding time is up,
1. did your phone vibrate or ring?
2. did the screen light up?
3. did you see the pop-up reminder when you unlock the screen.
BTW, could you please give us the detailed info about your device? Its model and system version?
Sorry for any inconvenience.
The bug renders reminders useless. Please fix this as fast as it is possible.

Hello,
Actions 1-3 do not happen, until the moment when I manually turn on the screen (unlocking is not necessary for 1 and 2, just for 3). It is simply not the way it should be.
My phone: Xperia V (LT25i), Android 4.1.2.

We feel so sorry for it. Could you please give us more info?
1. When the reminding time was up, did you see the reminding info in Notification bar?
2. When you set the reminding ringtone in Doit.im Settings, was the sound played?
3. Please give us the detailed system info on your device. Was it the sony's original system ? If you reinstalled the system before, could you please let me know which rom you used? It would be better if you could give us the link of that rom. Then we could emulatethe same environment to reproduce the problem you met.

Ad 1. You mean, of course, situation when the screen is all the time on. Yes. In this circumstances, when the reminding time was up I saw reminding info in notification bar and sound was played. But that was never the case. As I have written - there is no problem when the screen is on. The problem is when the screen is turned off.
Ad 2. Yes.
Ad 3. It is stock ROM.
Sony LT25i.
Android 4.1.2.
ROM version 9.1.A.1.1145.

Oh, I am sorry, I have forgot to tell you - there is no password set on my lock screen.
I have found the reason why Doit.im was not able to show and signal reminders when the remeinders' time was up. It has turn out that Sony's "Extended Standby Mode" setting is the one to blame. I have had it turned on (Settings->Power Management->Extended Standby Mode). Turning it off made Doit.im reminders work on their scheduled time.
Could you figure out is there a way for Doit.im's reminders to work properly in case an user has Extended Standby Mode on? I guess Doit.im's process is being stopped or put to sleep when the screen becomes off. So the question is: is there a way to prevent Extended Standby Mode from stopping Doit.im, when the screen becomes off?

@przemhb
Hello,
It relates to the system on your device. And we feel so sorry, for now, we have no feasible way to solve it. :(
But we will try to research on it then and give you a reply if we have any progress.
Thanks for your feedback and support. -

Please note that the Extended Standby Mode is supposedly present in every Android smartphone from Sony, so the problem concerns numerous Doit.im users. I hope you will find a way to either solve it or workaround it.
Anyway - please let me know. -

@przemhb
Now, the Extended Standby Mode will block reminders in Doit.im and we will try to find a way to solve it. And when it is solved, we will let us know.
We apology for the inconvenience brought to you.

Could you please let us know if there are any other apps in which the reminders works well (do not have the problem you reported above)? Then we will do a research on it first.

@michelle1987
I have tested Google Calendar and Astrid reminders. Both are affected by the issue. In other works it seems there are no apps in which remiders works well.
Maybe you would like to send me some debug code? -
