Do you mean that it is difficult for you to define the project, tag, and goals icons? On which page? The view task page? Could you please give us a screenshot?

Usability for me means that I don't have to spend anytime on noticing icons. I would love to see more contrast between the project, tag, and goals icons. It takes the eyes a little extra to define them when they are basically all in the similar shade.
