Hello,
Now on the mac app, links to the local files are clickable in task description. If you have a mac device, you may have a try.
In addition, you may try Doit.im extension on Chrome. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/doitim/gdifigodhjmpcflipigiicnkdohneben?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon
We support syncing among multiple platforms. Considering that the local links will be invalid on some of the platforms we support, they are not clickable on all the platforms. We are also looking for a way to optimize it. If you have any good idea about it, please feel free to let us know.
Thanks for your feedback and support.
Links (or HTML) in task descriptions
I am wondering if it is possible (only that I have not found out how) to include HTML or at least hyperlinks in task descriptions, or alternatively if you have considered introducing this.
I know that if I write a URL starting with http:// or a complete e-mail address, it will be recognized and turned into a link. However, it would be useful to be able to create other links, for example links to e-mail messages in Outlook (Outlook:), links to local files or files on a shared drive (file://, //localhost, C:\ etc).
Is any of this possible today, and if so, how? If not, are you planning to implement any of this? It would make references easier, and it would be an alternative to the (missing) upload documents feature.
Thanks.
