@Uduse
Hello,
To make calendars on Google synced to Doit.im, please select them in Doit.im preferences - Account Info. In Doit.im preferences - Account Info, click "Modify the reverse-synced calendar lists" and you can check the checkbox in front of the calendar that you want to sync with Doit.im.
http://enblog.doit.im/post/46392883159/doit-im-tip-how-to-upload-data-from-google-cal-to
Note: Any changes in Doit.im calendar on Google cannot be synced back to Doit.im.
Q: why the events remain even when I disconnect the google account?
A: Synced events cannot automatically disappear when you disconnect the google account, and the changes you make after you disconnect the google account will not be synced.
If you have further questions about it, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks for your feedback and support.
BTW, why the events remain even when I disconnect the google account?

@Uduse
Hello,
If convenient, could you please let us know the title of the task that failed to sync back Doit.im from Google Cal?
Sorry for any inconvenience.

@michelle1987 hm...
I thought there were only part of tasks is successfully sync, but the truth is none of my tasks were synced... the tasks showed were leftovers of deletion last time...
I deleted all my cal in Google cal and added them again(from other sites) and re sync with doit, it works...
I have a lot of cal in Google cal, and I delete/modify them frequently, if this bug happens again, I'll remember the details and give you feedback. -

@saobing36 it happens again... I modified my google cal a bit on this morning, and some of the tasks just disappeared for no reason... I can't add them again by syncing, and I don't want to delete all my cal in my google cal and add them again... this problem bothers me a lot, please fix it asap

I changed the name of one of my Google cal; however, the name in doit "Modify the reverse-synced calendar lists" still remained the same. I've tried to unlink my Google cal on doit and relink it afterwards, but the name of that cal stayed unchanged. Then I deleted that cal in Google, and it disappeared on doit. I'm not sure how I sync my Google cal with doit by deleting all cal in Google cal and adding them again, but this time the cal that I deleted and added again didn't show up in doit. There must be something wrong with the communication between doit and Google cal.

@saobing36 Sorry for response this late, there was no push notification so that I forgot to check this post.
I don't know why, but it appears to be working smoothly now, and I'm glad.
BTW, here're two tips for you:
1. Cancel the popup notification that show "success" when I successfully added some task through the chrome extension.
2. Some of my projects have a lot of scheduled tasks, but most of them are distant from now, so I hope doit can remember the projects I collapsed, so that I don't have to collapse that every time in order to have a clear view of other tasks -

@saobing36 I think I replied this a long time ago, but it seems my reply doesn't show up here.
here is my point:
a pop up window is very interrupting coz I need to click on it in order to finish my action.
I know notifying user about their action done is very important, so a smooth reminder shows up at corner works better, just like what you have when click on the "Sync with Google Cal" button in web version of doit.

@Uduse
Hi,
The popup notification that show "success" when you successfully added some task through the chrome extension will disappear automatically. Do you mean that you do not like the color of the notification or the place where it appears? We have the plan to make it better.

I learned in the beginning of this post that once a Google Calendar is synced there is no way to remove all the events that that initial syncing created. This is a huge problem. I recommend that there is a huge warning placed next to the settings where we check the boxes to turn on our Google Calendars. People who use Google Calendars are used to being able to turn those calendars off and on at will. Because they are used to this, they will assume you can do that in doit as well. I made this assumption and now I have about 7 calenders worth of information clogging my doit account. The application is now completely useless to me. Is there any way this can be fixed? Can I start a new account and still have it connected to my email address? Or can I erase all the data on the account so I can start over? I cannot possibly go through all these events and delete them all. There are way to many and they extend off into time years from now.

@ARCHIGUS
Hi,
Sorry that we could not improve the feature that you suggested right now. We will do a research.
You could delete your account on web version and re-register a new account with your email.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
