I agree with this.
And as an even better long-term solution, after the current project feature has had its planned enhancement with some form of "task dependency" or "parasequential" functionality (with manual ordering included), I would suggest that sub-tasks are simply scrapped and replaced by the ability to put projects under projects. It is simpler to have just two features - projects and tasks, and be able to stack projects as high or deep as you like - than to have projects and tasks and sub-tasks (and goals), all with different features.
Option to re-order sub-tasks
Is it possible to add the feature to re-order the sub-tasks. I think, as of now, at least manual re-ordering option should be available.
Thanks, Sudipta.

@sudipta_shaw
Manually ordering subtasks has been in our development plan and we are now making a design for it. Please just stay tuned!
@Folke
Do you refer to something like subprojects as you requested before? We will consider it in the future.
Thanks for your feedback and support. -

Yes, Michelle, that is all the same thing in my mind - simple and powerful, killing many birds with one stone :-)
But I still appreciate the fact that in the meantime you are making subtasks rearrangeable :-) -

@Folke
We will spend time thinking about your suggestion. :)
