@kour
Hello,
If convenient, could you please let us know in which situation you want to export my filters/projects in a CSV or EXCEL?
Thanks for your feedback and support. -

I am using Doit for personal GTD task management (not only but also professional meanings) and the problem that I have is that I need to send some of these tasks (for instance a project or a tag) time to time to somebody and the only exportable thing that I have is a screenshot.
I would like to have a option to export that tasks to an editable system (excel, word, txt, csv...) for sending them to a third party that dont uses Doit.im -

@kour
Hello,
We are planning to introduce the "share project" feature. I think that it may help you.
And we will also considering the "export" feature in the future.
Shall you need any other help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks for your feedback on Doit.im. -

I am just learning to use doit.im; so far, i am loving it! But i am disappointed to discover that the review i read that claimed that task lists could be exported aswete csv files was in error. Doit does not allow me to manipulate data and display tasks in the manner i prefer (such as alphanumerically).
Since i cannot sort by task name (which would be SO much more helpful than the clunky "grouping" feature), i tried "grouping" by context, and using 1, 2, 3, etc as contexts, so as to sort my list accordingly. Not only did this add inconvenient extra steps to evey task, but in the end, it did me no good. While the tasks could then be "grouped" by context, the contexts also appear listed randomly, NOT sorted alphanumerically.. So mu h for all my clever effort at a workaround ! -

The other big dissappointment is the complete absence of a print function. Another reason we need export function... to export to an app from which we can print!
Thanks for all the hard work in creating and improving such a useful product! -

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q: But i am disappointed to discover that the review i read that claimed that task lists could be exported aswete csv files was in error. Doit does not allow me to manipulate data and display tasks in the manner i prefer (such as alphanumerically).
A: Sorry that I could not understand you well. Could you please describe the error in detail? You can edit the weekly report in Doit.im, then down load it.
Q:Since i cannot sort by task name (which would be SO much more helpful than the clunky "grouping" feature), i tried "grouping" by context, and using 1, 2, 3, etc as contexts, so as to sort my list accordingly. Not only did this add inconvenient extra steps to evey task, but in the end, it did me no good. While the tasks could then be "grouped" by context, the contexts also appear listed randomly
A: Could you please send me a screenshot? Now Context is sorted alphanumerically, but " A" is not the same as "a". They are different.
Q:The other big dissappointment is the complete absence of a print function. Another reason we need export function... to export to an app from which we can print!
A: We will support print function. It has been in our developing plan. We will try our best to make it ASAP.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

Hi @Wendy
I think that what @vehement1 tries to say in "Q: But i am disappointed to discover that the review i read that claimed that task lists could be exported aswete csv files was in error. Doit does not allow me to manipulate data and display tasks in the manner i prefer (such as alphanumerically)."
Is that exporting info (CSV, MAIL, EXCEL, PDF...) is a must have for a GTD app because, as you are not a standard tool for all our contacts, we need a usable method for sending their pending tasks. If they could be scheduled it would be a extra point.
Summing Up, Exporting tasks is a must have for a GTD app -

I love doit.im, but I have come to conclusion that there is no intention to include a print/export feature, as they have now been 'considering' this for years!
I regularly have to present on my projects, so I need to be able to represent my data graphically, having to manually rekey as I would do today, means that I cannot use doit for my corporate projects, an neither can I recommend it to my colleagues! As a consequence I can only use doit to track my personal tasks! Come on doit.im, I'm starting to loose faith in you!
