Hello,
Q1: I've noticed that task marked as repeated do not appear in scheduled list. This means I cannot see future events, that repeat, wich makes it difficult to plan. Moreover, when you add repeated tasks to a project, you are unable to see the date of first appearence until you enter the task's details.
I have attatched a screen shot, showing the problem. I have set a regular scheduled task on 22.04.2013, which displays correctly, and a reeated task which appeares for the rist time on 19.04.2013, meaning earlier then the other. Not only I cannot see the date for the repeated one, but it is listed below the regular scheduled task. If I check the scheduled list, there repated task cannot be seen on the list anywhere around 19.04.2013.
A: When you add a repeated task, there will be a whole repeated task (which exists in Scheduled) and occurrences (which appears in Tomorrow or Today on its start time)
For example, there is a repeated task A starts on April 22, 2013 (Monday), repeats every Monday. It hasn't start yet, but you view it in Scheduled box. When the date is April 21, 2013, occurrence that is generated from task A will appear in Tomorrow and on April 22, 2013, it will come to Today box.
If you want to see all the occurrences that are generated form the whole repeated task, you can view them in Doit.im calendar mode. In Scheduled box, there are two icons below the Settings button at the top right corer. Click on the right icon and it will go to Doit.im calendar, in which you can see occurrences and their specific dates.
In addition, only occurrences after you create the whole repeated task will be displayed in Doit.im. For example, today is April 18. If today, you create a repeated task scheduled for 15-Apr-2013 and add a monthly repeating option for that task as repeating on 15th every month, occurrence on 15-Apr-2013 will not appear in Today, because it is a virtual task. And the next occurrence will appear in Today on 15-May- 2013 and will stay there even if it is overdue, because it is an entitative task.
Q2: Second concern is about quick add on iphones and ipads. Is there a way, to use a quick-add bar as on Android platform?
A: On iPad, there is no quick-add bar. :( When adding a task on iPad, you can directly tap on the icons on the rightmost panel to add attributes to it. If you want to collect tasks only in Inbox successively, you can tap on the Add Task icon and enter a task title and then retract the keyboard to save it.
Please feel free to contact us if you have more questions about repeated tasks.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
Trouble with repeated tasks and quick add
I have two concerns regarding Doit.im

Second concern is about quick add on iphones and ipads. Is there a way, to use a quick-add bar as on Android platform?
