Completed tasks automatically moved to Trash after sometime??? - PART II

I had started this topic http://help.doit.im/topics/1582 mentioning a possible bug.

When a task is completed, it is moving to "Completed" section. But after a period of time (not yet sure about the exact duration), the tasks are automatically moving to "Trash" instead of "Archive".

I have successfully reproduced the scenario by following the below steps:

1. Verified that Trash section has only 2 tasks
2. Then I opened "Completed" task section
3. Search with a key word.
4. Selected all completed tasks that were returned as part of the search result.
5. Clicked "Delete" icon
6. All selected tasks were deleted successfully.
7. Went to "Trash" section
8. I found that there were many tasks deleted (even the ones that were not returned in the search result.

Please fix this bug.

Hi,

Thank you for your description of the steps.
If you click the Delete icon, tasks will go to Trash. In Completed,on the search view,you can not archive any tasks. If you want to archive your tasks manually, you need to click the Archive icon.

Dear Wendy,

I guess you have missed my point.

I want to delete the tasks and send them to trash. But when I am doing a multiple selection of the tasks that are returned in the search result, there are MORE tasks that are getting deleted. I mean the tasks that are not displayed in the search result from where I am deleting the tasks are also getting deleted.

E.g.

In the "Completed" section, I searched for the word "folic" which returned all the completed tasks (say count is 9) with the word "folic" in them. Now I do a multiple selection (using SHIFT key) and then delete them all together by clicking the delete button. All 9 tasks get deleted and the search result is showing "No Results"

Now when I go to the "Trash" section, I find that along with the tasks having the word "folic" there are ALSO tasks which DO NOT have "folic" in them that are deleted. I find total count of tasks deleted is 20 (instead of 9).

I hope I could explain this.

Got it. I am sorry that I can not read them in your screenshot. Could you tell me the titles of the "More tasks" which should not be deleted?

I searched with "folic" which returned 16 results - tasks with name "Folic + Xevor + Cream daily at 11pm".

I selected all 16 tasks using SHIFT key and then clicked on Delete icon

All 16 tasks were deleted and the search result returned zero rows

Then I went to "Trash" section and found the below tasks also got deleted:
1. Apply V Cream
2. Apply eyedrop daily at 2:15pm
3. CESC Bill nirala pa
4. System Backup
5. Internet Fix - Call Alliance

And many more.

Total 58 tasks actually got deleted.
