I suppose that would be a natural step further in the direction Doit is primarily moving - time planning, collaboration.
I regret to say, though, that I would have preferred a stronger focus on GTD - support for making wise, fact-based decisions on the fly without really relying on dates at all except for the "interface" to the outside world. This fundamental GTD spirit could be taken to much higher levels of elegance and convenience in the software implementation, and would require substantial innovative work.
Nothing says an app cannot have both, though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Now Doit.im is more private app. It lacks many features for collaboration.
It is a good if we can team up with http://instagantt.com like Asana does. But we plan to develop calendar in Doit.im now which will let you be able to schedule tasks in a timeline, setting start dates and so on.
We will make a reach and consider it seriously. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

I am sorry if I misled you in my initial remark. I do not want Gantt charts. I even want less emphasis on time planning features of all kinds. And I do not need collaboration features. I primarily want GTD features for personal use. I want ways to represent the things I want to achieve on different levels, and ways to select wisely and dynamically what to choose to do right now.
What I meant with my original statement was the fact that Doit already has an emphasis (a bit too strong emphasis for my taste) on time planning and collaboration, and that Gantt charts might well be a natural continuation of this, which might attract another type of user than myself. -
