Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q:One suggestion I had was to allow the user to set the context(s) he/she is in.
For example, when I come to work in the morning, I'd like to set my current context to "Work" and have all actions under other contexts collapsed automatically, as I'm only able to complete my work action items.
A: It is in our developing plan. But in our plan, it may be called Area.
Q: Also, does Doit allow for multiple contexts? I cannot find the option to add several contexts.
A: Sorry that it is not supported yet. More about Context: http://faq.doit.im/web.html#28
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
Requested feature - set current context

Wendy,
If you introduce areas that have this capability, then it would be nice if all of these task characteristics settings (Contexts, Tags and also Area) were all available as quick filter buttons at the top of each list (just as tags are today), and were all visible on the list for each task on the list (just as contexts are today).
Both quick viewing and quick filtering of the list are very important, in my opinion, and I hope you agree :-)
