View/Edit an archivd project

I have a project that was completed and archived. Is there a way to view the project itself and be able to edit and/or un-archive it?

You can view the archived project itself, but you can not edit or un-archive it. Could you tell me why you need to do this? We will consider it seriously.

I searched for a way to unarchive a project because my project is seasonal. I archived it because it annoyed me to see it all year, but now I need to come back to it for this season. It's not a big deal for me to create a new project, but it would have been nice to simply remove the project from the archive.

Not a deal breaker for me, but since you asked why you would want to unarchive a project, I thought I'd share my experience.

Hi,

Thank you for your information.

We will take your suggestion into consideration. Do you try the Inactivate feature for Projects? You could inactivate a project if you will do it later.

I'd find it really helpful to have an "unarchive" feature. I have a project called IT but want to split it into various components. Archived IT items relate to different components and I just want to be able to change the project to one of my split projects. There are a lot of other uses though I am sure!
