@Folke
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
In the Next version,we will support group by "Box" in the Project view.
Do you mean that you want that there will be an icon on the task bar which can tell you which box the task is in when you group the list by project?
And is it better to make the icon be the Box logo in the checkbox?
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team
I am not a designer and I do not know what would look nice and clear, but I would prefer something discreet and elegant (not glaring or cheap looking). Just to give you an idea of what I mean, though, suppose, for example, that the task's checkbox could contain a mini-version of the Box's "logo" (from the left menu under FOCUS; e.g. the "cloud" for Someday or the "table" for Scheduled), or suppose there could be a small text after the task name (similar to @context #project), saying which Box this task is from (e.g. "Next, "Waiting).

Hi @wendy_only
The project actions can be grouped by box already :-) (Or are we talking about different things?)
But if I choose any given Project or Context etc in the left menu, and then group that view by, say, Priority or Deadline or whatever (except Box) then the actions will be in the order I had chosen and I cannot see which tasks are Next and which ones are Waiting or Someday etc.
It would be good to have something visible in the list that informs me, for each task in such a list, whether this task is Next or Waiting etc. It does not matter much if it is text or an icon or a color - as long as it is clear and not too ugly.

@Folke
Hi,
This time I am clear about what you are talking. You need a mark on the task bar to tell you whether this task is Next or Waiting etc, right?
We will study about it seriously. -

@wendy_only :-)
I think we understand each other. This would be very useful in some views - not in Next, Waiting, Someday (were the Box is already defined), but in:
- Project view (if other grouping than Box has been selected)
- Context view
- Advanced/Saved/Global filters
- Goals, probably (if you have tasks there; but personally I have only projects there)
- Today (Today is best seen not as a separate Box - but as a "view" of starred items from anywhere) -

@Folke
Hi,
I agree with your idea. In Box view like Next,the tasks are all in Next,no other box tasks. So we do not need box information on the task bar. Our designer will study the mark on the bar.
Thank you.
