in-app billing problem

Hi,
I want to upgrade to to Pro. When I use in-app billing, using Google Play, I encounter the error message: "this payment method cannot be used for this purchase (iai)".

My Google Play balance is more than 20$ and I can buy apps on Google Play with no problem.

Please help.

Did you use gift card to pay for it?
Here is a introduction saying that you can not use gift card for Android app subscriptions.

Well I noticed the same thing and my Google play wasn't with a gift card it was linked to my bank card and I've never had issues with it before and it displays same message"this payment method cannot be used for this purchase (iai)".

@jesstm_1987 Gift cards can not be used to pay pro account of Doit.im on Google play.
