@byalpel
Hi,
How do you create the task? Did you ever save it and reopen it to change how it repeat?
I have created last week (the 13rd of november) a recurrent task :
- next occurrence : 15 november 2013
- Monthly on Day 15
- No reminder
But it did not ever appear on today tab.
I have coupled doit.im to my Gmail Calendar and I can see scheduled tasks, but recurrent tasks are not shown either.
Can you help me ?
Thanks
I have joined a screen capture.

Hi,
Using Cmd-N for creating the task, and then scheduled it to 15/11, then made it recurrent, and saved.
I've tried just now to save it again, or to edit and save again, nothing changed.
I kept the schedule (15/11) without recurrence, it now shows in Today (good).
When I make it recurrent again, it does not show in Today (bad)... -

Hi,
After checking,we find that the task whose start time is 15/11 has been completed. Please go to Completed to have a check.
Q:I've tried just now to save it again, or to edit and save again, nothing changed.
A: When the time you create or change the task is later than the start time, the recurrent task will not be created. Your task's start time is 15/11,and you save it again on 18/11,so the task on 15/11 will not be created. If you create it on 13/11,the task on 15/11 is created.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

Hi,
Thank you for the answer.
To my opinion, it's clearly a very weird behaviour...
If a task is completed, why is it still present in "Scheduled" ? I can't see them in "Completed" by the way.
None of my recurrent tasks are visible on today, whatever their start date nor the date of creation. To me, it's clearly a bug...
The algorithm should be (I used The Hit List as GTD software before changing from iPhone to Android, and this was how it was used) : Today should list all tasks scheduled to past and today, recurrent or not.
Thank you for helping me solving this, since it's a critical feature to me.

Hi,
Q: If a task is completed, why is it still present in "Scheduled" ?
A: The task which you set it repeat will have a icon on the task bar in Scheduled. Let's call it mother task. It is always displayed in Scheduled. The recurrence created according to the mother task will showed in Today and Tomorrow when the start time arrive. When you complete the recurrence, the mother task will not be completed.
Q: I can't see them in "Completed" by the way.
A: Please go to your Completed box, group by Completion, and make a screenshot of the 15/11 group. Or please use the Global search, type in the task's title and make a screenshot of the search result.
Note:Please use private comments to send me your screenshots.
Q:None of my recurrent tasks are visible on today, whatever their start date nor the date of creation. To me, it's clearly a bug...
A: Do you mean that all recurrence should be showed according to the start time and the repeat policy? If I create a task whose start time is 20/10 today, and today is 20/11. I set it to repeat daily. In your opinion, there should be more than 30 tasks in Today?
Q:Today should list all tasks scheduled to past and today, recurrent or not.
A: It is just what Doit.im is doing to list all tasks scheduled to past and today in Today. But if you complete the task,it will go to Completed Box.
