@wendy_only I put a lot of next tasks or waiting for tasks for a particular project in do.it. they all might have a specific deadline. Right now i have to update for each task individually.

@jlheberl
Hi,
It seems that it is really not convenient to you to set deadline.
Do you mean that your tasks all no not have Start Time but have Deadline? -

Some could have start times and some not. Some could have deadlines and some not. For instance I may have 10 things I want to do that month and put them in next with a deadline of the end of the month. When that day comes and I have only completed 4 and need to schedule the other 6 with a new deadline, I have to put in the deadline for each individually.

Hi,
Could you please tell us which way would you like to make this feature? By right clicking?

I think the best way to implement bulk editing is to NOT create a separate feature for every little thing that can be changed, but to implement ONE single feature that can change anything. Usually, in apps that have this, after having selected a whole bunch of items and enter Edit, you will see that all parameters that are set identically are shown in high-contrast black-and-white, whereas all parameters that are set differently for different items are dimmed (gray) or blank. When you set an element to some certain value, such as checked or Grandma, the all items have that element set in that way. For example, if a tag is added, then all selected items get that tag. If a tag is deleted all selected items lose that tag. If a deadline is set, then that deadline will apply to all selected tasks. And, very importantly, if some elements are not modified, then these elements will not be modified for any of the selected tasks. For example, if some of the selected tasks had start dates or deadlines or tags etc that you did not touch when editing, they should be left as they were.
For a real-life illustration of this, please check todo app RememberTheMilk or music library app Media Monkey. -

Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion.
We will do a research on the products. We will try our best to make it easy to edit the tasks.

Hi,
We are considering adding this feature now. We plan to add an option in right clicking on tasks.

On right clicking -> then "edit" and then the ability to change all the parameters for the selection? Just like mp3-tag management in Itunes or other music playing software? That'd be magnificent.
Or do you mean on right clicking -> change deadline (that'd be a nasty workaround, that would be useful but far from ideal IMO!). -

@Japhir
Hi,
It is on right clicking -> then "edit" and then the ability to change all the parameters for the selection.

I was referring to the ability to change the deadline for multiple tasks at once similar to how you can select multiple tasks and drag them over to "Today" which automatically updates the start date to Today. It would be great to have the same feature but for deadlines. This could easily be done by having another item under Focus that says "Deadline".
