@leeraulin
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q:I think it would be great if the rapid task entry box/popup/whaver in Android could me made to always be present on the lock screen. And it should be made into a widget.
A:Do you mean the SmartAdd in the notification bar? You want it to be a widget? If it is a widget,we have the plan to make the widget be able to work on the lock screen.
Q:Also add a Shortcut for Android that opens the rapid task entry dialogue.
A: Could you please tell me why? Now you can touch it in the notification bar to open it.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

"Do you mean the SmartAdd in the notification bar?"
Yes. It's a nice feature... But to use it, I have to access the notification bar, which means swiping down from the top of the screen, which is a bit awkward to do in a Galaxy S4. Also, I may have to scroll through the notifications list to find it among many other notifications.
Currently, I use the widget, which my 3rd party homescreen app lets me shrink more than would ordinarily be possible...but I don't want or need a widget to display the contents of my homescreen... I just a way to very quickly and easily add whatever thoughts occur to me to my inbox.
I think a Shortcut is the best way to go... Just touch the icon, write, press done.
Mylife Organized has set the standard for rapid task entry, that should be the minimum that any GTD app should strive to emulate. On the desktop... Ctr+Shift+M. Type type type. Ctr+Enter. Bam. The dialogue is gone, and a new thought has been recorded in my inbox. Their rapid task entry Shortcut on Android creates a similar experience. -

"the contents of my homescreen" the contents of my inbox is what I meant.

+1
I often think of tasks when driving, etc. In additional to a "quick add" screenlock widget please also consider supporting the Google Now "note to" voice feature in the same manner as Todoist:

The faster I can dump tasks into my inbox w/ my Android device the better.
