Hi,
Thank you for your feedback!
Q:When i look at tasks in my scheduled that are on repeat, they don't show any time or date of the next one, they just show the repeat symbol, is there a chance this could be added, not sure if anybody already requested it but i don't know how anyone can use the scheduled list view when repeated tasks show no next date.
A:The task which you set it repeat will have a symbol on the task bar in Scheduled. Let's call it mother task. It is always displayed in Scheduled. The recurrence created according to the mother task will showed in Today and Tomorrow when the start time arrive.
Q:When i organize the scheduled by start time, the task that is repeated doesn't show above a scheduled task that is not repeated. Even though the repeat task should show first, not sure if this is a bug, or because the time and date is not being picked up.
A:It is not a bug. The mother tasks will be in a group called Repeat. The recurrence will not be showed in Scheduled as the next recurrence will be created when the its start time is Today and Tomorrow.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me back.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

Hi,
Do you mean that you want to see the next recurrence, no matter what its start time is,even it is next year?
Best regards,

I agree it would be good if more information could be shown for all scheduled tasks, including the repeating ones, for example:
- next start date
- next deadline date
- repeat cycle (perhaps simplified)
And yes, this should be visible for all tasks, even if the next occurrence is next year.
As it is now, Doit keeps a long list of all repeating tasks at the bottom of the list, plus it shows the clone task one day in advance (under Tomorrow) along with all the once-off tasks (non-repeating).
In principle, I like this separation of mother tasks and clones very much.
One possible improvement would be to show the next clone for ALL repeating tasks. This would make the list longer, for sure, but much clearer, as you would have all tasks (repeat and non-repeat) listed in the right sequence. And it would also mean you you can start to add notes and subtasks etc to the clone long time before it is due.
Even in the Repeating section (mother task section), I think the next occurrence (start, deadline) should be clearly visible. -

Hi,
Thank for your feedback.
I am sorry to tell that we do not plan to do it now. But we will consider it seriously. It may be in our next developing plan.
Thank you.
