Hi,
1.We will consider it seriously to make task list can be able to group by Goals.
2. We have disscussed your suggestion about how to make regroup more convenient before. It will make a big change of the UI. Please give us some time to adjust this.
It would be very handy for me to be able to view my Next actions grouped by Goal (and then by priority within each goal, just like for grouped by context, or project, deadline etc).
(And the same grouping options could apply to all Box lists.)
And an old request also related to grouping:
Regrouping the Next list (and other lists) is a very, very powerful tool that I use all the time. And it is quick, too (does not require a reload of the page). But:
It would be more convenient if this regrouping could be made into a single-click operation instead of two clicks. Instead of first having to open the "Group by" menu and then selecting one of the options, there could be a number of buttons on that line; the line is not used for anything else, so there is a lot of space available.

@wendy_only
I am very grateful that you are looking into this.
As for 2, this not crucial in any way, of course. Having to continue to click twice instead of once is not going to kill anyone. And, as you say, maybe those switch buttons would be ugly and confusing. But the different sorting modes you offer really are such a powerful and useful feature that it would be neat if they could be taken advantage of as conveniently as possible. If it can be solved in a non-confusing way it is great.
As for 1, this is one of many ways in which you (we) could take advantage of the Goals feature. The Goals feature has the potential to be a very powerful part of the forward-planning process, the task selection process, and even for the "History" (follow-up). If we regard the Goals as a kind of "super-project" it becomes apparent what you (we) could potentially do with it. (Maybe I'll write some separate suggestions for that in another thread, but I think you can imagine.) -
