I agree that it should always be possible to see the next scheduled date for every task in Scheduled.
And preferably the next deadline date, too, in those cases that there is one. (Currently the deadline field on the right seems to show the expiration of the entire repeat sequence, which is not equally useful.)

Hi,
It is a feature that you request to show the next instance of a repeating task.
Now the 'specific task' will be showed only when its start time is Today and Tomorrow. So you can see it in Today and Tomorrow view.
We will consider it seriously. Thank you.

I am finding that I am constantly 'surprised' by tasks which are repeating only becoming visible when due today or tomorrow. I need a longer view of upcoming tasks for planning purposes. Can you please tell me the approximate timeframe for providing this ir I will have to move to another GTD product as I can't really work with yours as it is implemented.
Sorry but It keeps causing me problems!

Hi,
We are considering this issue now. Now you can see the next instance of a repeating task with calendar mode in Scheduled on web version.
Thank you for your support!

@wendy_only and @davidbowdler
I think the next occurrence date (and corresponding deadline, if any) of every repeating task should always be visible in the list itself. The calendar view simply is not convenient enough, and having to open/edit the task to check is not convenient, either.

All scheduled repeating tasks should display the date that they will appear again on the star / today list. This is a must. Calendar view is nice, but it's not a necessity.

Hi,
It will cause problem if we do it like what you suggest now in coding. Our developers will work harder to find a solution.
Thank your for your support. -

I look at Scheduled, and I see my "pay credit card" task, but I truly have no idea whether I did it this month. I have to look at Completed and scroll through looking for the task. Very cumbersome.
I did find I can make a filter to show upcoming tasks, as a workaround.
I don't want to tell you how to do it, but showing the date of the next instance in the scheduled view doesn't seem too disruptive.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We will consider your suggestion seriously.
You could see all upcoming tasks in calendar mode in Scheduled on web version. Please have a try.
You can switch between “List” and “Calendar” in Scheduled. Go to Scheduled and there are two icons below the “Settings” button at the top right. Click on the right one and you can go to Doit.im calendar. Click on the left one and you can go back to the tasks list.
