+1 (both for the suggestion and the praise!)
Being able to group things by Context is something I have come to value very highly, but I agree that the Tags and Context features could be much better harmonized and be made much more convenient to use. It is quite awkward now, when you have to have you contexts spread out across two entirely different features - Contexts and Tags.
For example, one super-simple solution would be if you were allowed to assign Tags to your Contexts, and let these Tags be automatically inherited by all tasks that have that Context. This very simple solution alone would be enough to allow you to define Tags with the same names as your Contexts, and make those Context-Tags available in the tag bar for ad hoc quick filtering. This would also allow you to assign these same Context-Tags as secondary, additional, contexts to other tasks that have a different "main context" ("list group").
All in all, with such a simple feature enhancement, you would have both a firm and clear list grouping capability and a universal ad hoc context filtering capability regardless of whether the individual context is defined as a Tag or as a Context.
(And in addition, I would like to have the ability to quickly exclude tasks from the list by alt-clicking the tag button, and I believe this is being in the design phase already :-)

@drgutting
Hi,
Could you please describe the situations in which you need to add more than one context to a single task?
What's Context in Doit.im?
Everything is done in a special place or under a certain circumstance, and that PLACE or CIRCUMSTANCE is called Context in our app. So you can add tasks with certain contexts and view the tasks with the same context together. For example, when you're at home, you just want to see tasks to do at home, so you just click "Home" context and can be focused on these tasks.
Best regards,
Doit.im Team

@Folke
Hi,
We have discussed your suggestion before. Our designer is dealing with this issue now. -

Thanks, that is great to hear! I am thankful and impressed by the great response you always give.
I do not want to appear to be nagging. If I am repeating myself it is largely because I am concerned that there are so many suggestions in this forum, and many of them are actually about the same thing, coming back over and over and over, but phrased slightly differently, and when I see these I sometimes worry that you and other users might think there is a ton of enhancements being requested, when in fact only a few simple changes would be required. -

@wendy_only Wendy, I described one situation in my original post. If I have a task with a context "phone", it doesn't tell me whether it's my phone at "home" (another context) or my phone at the "office" (another context). I would like to be able to assign it to both contexts: #phone #office. The same with tags. Hope that helps.

@drgutting
Why not have a "office phone" context? -

Really thank you for discussing with other Doit.im users and sharing your ideas and tips with us. You are helping us when you submit feedback and reply to others. You also help us teach some users about how to use Doit.im. Thanks a lot,nice person. :)
