Hello,
Here are two ways for you to deactivate a project:
1.When you select an active project in Projects list, the “Inactive” icon will be highlighted at the top bar. Click on that icon and you can deactivate the project. After successfully deactivated, its start time will also be changed.
2.You can deactivate an active project by directly changing its start time. As long as you change its start time into Tomorrow, Scheduled or Someday, it will be an inactive project. And when it expires, it will be activated automatically.
Shall you need any help or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
Is there any way to see the deactivated projects?
Thank you,
J Goldman

Hello,
First, no matter whether it is an active project or not, you can find it in Projects list. Click on PROJECTS on the left side menu, all the projects, including active and inactive projects will appear on the right.
But inactive projects will also be showed in other place:
Once a project is deactivated, which box it will also appear depends on the start time you set to it. For example, if you set Someday to the start time of a project, it will also be located in Someday box(The project's start time is Someday by default if you deactivate by the "Deactivate“ icon on the top ). If you set a specific date to the start time of a project, it will also appear in Scheduled box.
In addition, if the inactive project has a context, it will be showed in that context as well.
As for how can an inactive project re-activated,
1.Select an inactive project on Projects list, the “active” icon will be highlighted at the top bar. Click on that icon and you can activate the project. After successfully activated, its start time will also be changed.
2.You can activate an inactive project by directly changing its start time. As long as you change its start time into Today or Next, it will be an active project.
Active projects will not appear in any box except on Projects list. But tasks under an active project will appear in the corresponding box according to the start time you set to them. Because for an active project, what you should focus on is the tasks under it not the project itself.
If there is still anything unclear, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your support.
