dates on scheduled items

I am trying to plan out tasks over a longer period of time, ie the next couple of months, and want to be able to look at them in doit in a way for me to gauge if it is realistic or not. right now if i view scheduled, it only gives me the dates for those in the next week or so, then it just says next week after that, not the date. I need the date, if it is scheduled, it should show the date. this is imporant, can it be implemented?

Hi,

Do you mean that you want to see the specific start date on the task bar in Scheduled?

Now you can view tasks by date by choosing Calendar mode on web version.

I agree with @lisa_alway, but for an entirely different reason.

In my case (as you already know) I do not normally schedule (plan in advance) when I will do my tasks, but I do make extensive use of Scheduled as my GTD Tickler file, in other words for tasks that are "impossible/irrelevant before" a certain date. (When they have reached this date most of them end up in Next or Waiting, depending on whether it is I or somebody else who will do them, or in the Trash if I decide that they need not be done.)

I guess for both Lisa and me it makes things unnecessarily difficult if we cannot see these dates clearly in the list, and I really see no good reason to hide them. It certainly would be useful to see the next "start date" and next deadline date (if any) for all tasks in the scheduled LIST.

Please work on this feature. I would love to continue using your product but I need to be able to see the due dates on all tasks whether recurring or not. You have many apps and the only way to see the due date on a recurring task is to go to the webapp and look at the calender.These can't be seen on mobile apps.
