How to re-order subtasks within an overall task?

I want to be able to organize subtasks within an overall task.

I'm currently adding subtasks to an overall task in the order I want to check them off. However, after I've added a few subtasks, I find I might want to re-order them and/or insert one or more higher or lower in the list of subtasks.

I'm hoping this is possible. Otherwise, I need to re-enter the entire task in the "new" order. And, if I add another subtask and can't insert in the latest order of events, I'll need to start over again.

Hi,

You can re-order subtasks manually in V 4 apps. Select the subtask and drag and drop it.

@wendy_only I'm very confused as to why I have 2 versions of Doit.im. Both show up as the latest version. I'm using the app across all my devices: iMac, iPad and iPhone.

On my iMac: I have v1.623; on my iPhone AND iPad: I have BOTH v3.9.15 and v4.0.

All update when I sync, but each has a different GUI. I got both versions on both my iPhone AND iPad after opening v3.9.15 and being alerted an update was available. However, it didn't replace that version, but instead installed v4.0 as a separate/new app.

When I check for updates in BOTH of the app's prefs, it says I have the latest version. This is very confusing.

I'd like to delete the earlier version, but I'm afraid to because it warns me that all my data will be deleted as well.

Please help!

Hi,

V4 app is a new app. You can install both the old and the new on one device.

Hi,

Please log in on web version ( https://i.doit.im ) to have a check if all tasks are there. Your tasks will not be gone if you have sync them to our server even when you uninstall the Doit.im app on your phone. When you re-log in on app, the data will be download from the server with your account.
