I;m new to Doit.im (using trial period for now). It seems this service will fit my needs, but I have some questions.

I developed an issue tracking system for our department and I want to have ability to
- (as minimum) add tasks to GTD system not only by copy/paste.
- (as maximum) two way syncronization

1. I tried to use 'Smart-add' functionality to assign task's properties when sending e-mail to my inbox (#Project @Context etc. in message subject). It doesn't work. Not implemented? I think it will be a very useful feature, especially for some kind of integration.

2. Is there any API to manage tasks?

3. I need an ability to group projects by more common criteria with the ability to group and filter their by this criteria. Something like project groups or tags for projects. Or hierarchical projects. And the best will be all at once. :)

The simplest example is to separate personal projects from the work. Another example: I'm supporting an ERP system, that consists of 2 related applications. So, I want to see tasks by each application and as a whole "ERP support" project.
Of course your system has filters and I can create special filters for my needs. But when another subproject appears, I will have to edit all of them.
