An option to toggle the default search mode to "global" would extremely useful!

- Yes, a default for current list only
- And a default to include completed tasks only
- And a default not to save the list nor even ask for a name (there could be a Save button somewhere in the list that shows up
- And more and better Boolean options (AND, OR, NOT) nested in at least two levels, preferably four or more
- And Goal and Box available as selection criteria

With these changes the search feature could be used for:

- for custom lists that you want to reuse often (saved searches)
- for temporary searches of lost or misplaced items anywhere
- for temporary filtering and regrouping of the current list (i.e. it could be a replacement for the very limited tag filter)

It has been in our developing plan to add an option to toggle the default search mode to "global". We are redesigning the web version now.

We need consider it seriously about adding other options.
